The Law Of Attraction | Reflecting On The Past

It’s currently 8 o’clock at night as I write this and I'm drinking a cup of tea listening to some of my favourite upbeat songs. I haven’t done much with my day today apart from reflecting on my past and that’s okay! I try not to reflect too deeply anymore as I’m trying to break the never-ending cycle of my vicious “what if” thoughts. Thoughts such as what if I had said this instead of that or what if I hadn’t done that, would things be different?

I started to practice thinking about happiness and moving forward to better things in my future. I stopped dwelling on emptiness, loss and world tragedies as much as I had been to try to spark a change in my half glass empty mindset. The thing is I had never considered that I could control my own feelings and control my own outcomes through the idea of "your vibe attracts your tribe" (the Law of Attraction).

I started looking into the Law of Attraction in March 2017 when I was trying to turn my life around completely and the hardest pill for me to swallow was acknowledging what the Law of Attraction has to offer and realising every one of my decisions I make, good or bad, is shaped by me alone.

Anyway, I was reflecting back on a period of my life where I was surrounded by negativity and toxicity.

I recommend watching Melanie Murphy's dreams into reality video where she reads from her book, fully functioning human (almost), about the Law of Attraction and turning dreams into actual reality.

In basic term, the Law of Attraction is that for every second of our existence on this earth, We act as magnets through sending our thoughts and emotions out. This means we attract what we are focusing on in our lives and what we put out into the world.

Cut to a year later, my life is filled with positive and supportive people who I cherish deeply. Some of these people I don’t speak to very often because life gets in the way, I'm also bad at keeping in contact with people, but whenever we do I’m so grateful to have them in my life.

I know people say that this is the happiest they have ever been and it's cliche but genuinely this is the happiest I have ever been. This is due to being aware of who and what I attract to me and how to influence these.

Until next time,
