Birthday Celebrations and Zizzi's | Review

My twin and I went out for lunch in Glasgow at Zizzi’s on Tuesday to celebrate our birthday. We sat outside as we had to make the most of soaking up the Scottish sun as we get a lack of it. To be honest a lack of it is an understatement. Neither the less it almost felt like we were in Italy as the sun beamed down on us.

All in all, our visit was good and filled with scrumptious food. It was definitely the right decision to celebrate our birthday by having lunch at Zizzi’s and I would go back in the future. I certainly would recommend it to anyone who has been thinking about going.

Zizzi’s has a simple and easy menu to follow and also has a thorough range of starters, mains and dessert. It has classic dishes such as garlic bread, margarita pizza and tiramisu. It however also features more obscure dishes if they suit your taste buds.

As a main, we opted to share garlic bread brushed with garlic butter and rosemary and a classic pepperoni campagna (pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, mozzarella & thyme) pizza as it was only lunchtime and couldn’t manage to eat a full meal each.

When it came to dessert we shared the salted caramel chocolate brownie as we both have a massive sweet tooth and couldn’t try it. Needless to say, we made the right decision as it tasted heavenly.  The giant chocolate shavings made the brownie look ten times better!

Until next time,
