VISTA announces EP ‘The Ruins’

New York based cinematic alternative rock band, VISTA, have announced their upcoming EP release “The Ruins” which is out on all digital platforms October 25th, 2019. This will be their first record since 2017.

“The Ruins” will be the first of a trilogy of EPs that VISTA will release, the remaining two titled “The Repair” and “The Revival” (release dates still to be announced). The EP is a 5-track collection (which contains all previously unreleased songs) that walks down a dark leading path to the band’s ‘ruins,’ which will then evolve into their revival by the end of the trilogy.

Along with the release of “The Ruins”, VISTA will be playing an EP release show on the 26th October in Long Island at Amityville Music Hall; tickets can be purchased HERE

VISTA is not slowing down. Although there have been two years since their 2017 record release 'Long Live', the duo has remained consistently active, having completed five US tours, shared the stage with Fearless Records’ Set It Off and Fueled By Ramen's Against The Current and earned music video rotation in Journeys’ stores nationwide. VISTA have also released four singles within this time; 'Eat (I Must)', 'Born for Blood', their highest-streamed song to date, “Witch Hunt” and their most recent single 'Electric Souls'

The independent duo, comprised of lead vocalist Hope Vista and guitarist Greg Almeida, have racked up over half a million streams on Spotify alone. Their blue and black colour pallete branding is utterly hypnotising. VISTA continually entice new listeners with their explosive live show, trademark electronic influences and their tight-knit social media fanbase.

In conjunction with the release of “The Ruins,” VISTA will be releasing a documentary exclusively to YouTube in early November. The documentary will give viewers an intimate and unconventional look into a string of events that temporarily derailed the band since the release of 'Long Live'. With the upcoming release of “The Ruins,” VISTA is hardly at a climax; they are poised for a revival.

I know this type of post is incredibly different for me. However, doing artist interviews and features along with music reviews is something I have always wanted to incorporate into my website. So, I thought it would be best to start off with a highly anticipated EP by one of my favourite artists. If you enjoyed reading this type of post let me know in the comments below.
